Abstract

The “Praktisi Mengajar” program as part of an “Kampus Merdeka Belajar” provides a space for practitioners to share skills for students. In professional listening and speaking courses where students' speaking and listening skills are required to be mastered professionally, sharing skills from practitioners is very useful. This study aims to measure students' enthusiasm in learning speaking and listening with practitioners. A total of 6 students were involved in this study. This research is a case research method in which data is obtained from observation, questionnaire and interview. The results showed that the enthusiasm of students was very high reaching 80%, their preferred learning method was lecture (40%), practice (40%) and discussion (20%) with a readiness level to participate reaching 100%. With these results, it is hoped that the quality of student learning outcomes in professional listening and speaking courses will reach the expected target.
